We are very lucky at Birchwood Grove Community Primary School to have access to a relatively new building. This affords us a sense of space that many older schools do not have. Opened in 2009, we are lucky to have access to:

  • 14 large classrooms

  • A specialist internal alternative provision for pupils with an EHCP or high additional needs

  • A large main hall

  • A smaller hall called The Studio

  • A SEND base for use with pupils who have high additional physical needs, e.g: are wheelchair bound or require physical therapy

  • Numerous breakout rooms

  • A large foyer which contains our library

  • An internal garden space

  • Two large playgrounds

  • A pond and boardwalk

  • A forest school

  • A ball court / MUGA

  • A large field

We share our site with Woodlands Meed College and Dicker House Pre-School.
